The New Day, According to Ralph

“Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”

― Ralph Waldo Emerson

I came across this little wise nugget via my childhood Kristen this morning. Sometimes the right words just drop in your lap. And so often they were written by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Since today began for me with insomnia at 2:30 a.m., I look forward to the new day of tomorrow. I especially hope I don’t arrive at tomorrow before 6 a.m.!

Such an active mind, I have, and encumbered with plenty of nonsense.

Must be something in the air – I didn’t sleep well either.

Love the quote. Every day is a new day. I can’t be reminded of that too often!

I’m going to bed early, are you? Here’s hoping for a better night!
