April, El Born, Barcelona

Narrow streets, sunshine, music, vibrant outdoor cafes. April in Barcelona!

Out to the end of Barceloneta, we take off our shoes and test the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Cold, of course, but exhilarating, too.

There are holes to dig and lots of seaglass to find. There is sitting to do. Pigeons and seagulls mix. This is the sea. But also the city.

You’ve got to go to Ivo & Co. Best shop. Can’t believe you are so close and I’m not seeing you. Until this summer!

I hope you love Barcelona as much as I have. We get home on the 27th and I’ll email you lots of ideas when I can write at a computer and include links. Do you know the neighborhood where you are staying?

No. We are yet to decide on that. Suggestions for that are also welcome. Looking forward to your response 🙂

Q. Why did the chicken cross the road? A. To dig a hole in the sand at the beach.

We have to visit Barcelona, it looks so nice. I especially like the narrow streets and the architecture. It’s definitely worth a visit and is on the top of our “city trip list”. xo
